SUMMARY: To administer benefit, wellness and compensation programs. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
- Administer benefit plans (such as medical, dental, vision, FSA, short and long-term disability, etc.) by answering questions, applying policies, approving enrollments / terminations and ensuring proper notifications
- Administer leaves of absence by answering questions, applying policies, coordinating benefits, sending notifications and processing premium payments
- Process performance reviews by answering questions, applying policies, calculating pay changes and sending notifications
- Create, revise and maintain job descriptions and recommend classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and pay grade
- Administer the 401(k) plan by coordinating enrollment meetings, processing requests and taking meeting minutes
- Complete wage surveys
- Audit and process for payment monthly insurance invoices and reconcile premium payments received
- Set-up and facilitate benefit presentations and enrollment meetings
- Develop, coordinate and carryout employee wellness activities
IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 2 years benefit administration experience in similarly sized organization
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Human Resources databases
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Above average math skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to present information to large groups of people
- 4-year degree with Human Resources emphasis
