ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Job Title: Assistant Controller

Yearly Salary $75,000

Position Summary: The assistant controller will provide professional support to the corporate controller by performing specialized accounting tasks and overseeing the costs, budgets, and financial statements of the company. The assistant controller will develop an understanding of and work independently to properly classify, record, and maintain records of revenue and expenses. They will also routinely communicate with customer service, sales force, and logistic teams regarding accounting matters. In addition, they will manage the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, while working closely with the controller to assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting requirements. Additional duties include reconciling bank, AR, AP, and inventory monthly. Recording bank deposits and customer payments. Assist (as needed) in preparing check runs, wires, and ACH payments. Accurately charging expenses to appropriate accounts and jobs by analyzing invoices and receipts.
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with at least 10 years’ experience.
Possess a strong financial reporting and analytical skillset, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
