The Role G-Research is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to join our HR team. You will work closely with managers across the business, with a particular focus on our Engineering Function, helping them to build their capability and confidence in managing people and teams. Alongside your HR colleagues, you will provide advice and support to managers across a range of policies and procedures, including managing absence and flexible working requests. You will provide reporting and insights on key themes, and support with employee relations matters, such as performance improvement. Key responsibilities of the role include: Partnering directly with managers to provide pragmatic and sound advice on people and team matters Supporting senior HR Business Partners on annual HR activities, such as performance and compensation review Working with HR Business Partners and Core HR to ensure all employee and organisational changes are recorded correctly and aligned to the headcount plan Supporting operational elements of change efforts, such as re-organisations, with a high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail Collaborating with the G-Research HR team to deliver initiatives and projects with broader organisational reach Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Demonstrable experience in a HR advisory role, with working knowledge of a wide range of HR disciplines, including employee relations and compensation Ability to work independently and confidently, applying their HR expertise An evidence-based approach to problem-solving; a thoughtful approach which demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making skills Proven experience building strong business partnerships and fostering relationships with employees and other stakeholders A client-support orientation and mind-set, with the ability to work effectively at the management level and in collaboration with HR colleagues Commercial approach and business acumen Strong organisational and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with the ability to prioritise and complete multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communication skills Why should you apply?
