Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide support for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans.
- Monitor client behavior and provide patient observation to ensure safety and comfort.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients to promote inclusion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and any changes in condition while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is required.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
