Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to create insightful reports and dashboards.
- Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Manage projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
- Create process maps and documentation using Visio to illustrate current and future state processes.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems or processes as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics and project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Knowledge of linked data concepts is a plus.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
