Operations Manager for Weatherization
Reports To: Weatherization Director
Classification: Exempt
Shift: Mon - Thurs
Salary Range: $43,680 - $49,000
Role:
This position is responsible for overall site operations and team process management, including performance measurement, training and or coordination of training for all staff, management of subcontracts, public education, public awareness, community and provider relations, program review and quality oversight.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
35% Oversight and accountability of Program administration and day-to-day operations of Program, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of funding grants and applicable regulations. Hire capable and competent staff, ensuring appropriate training; supervising and providing disciplinary action when necessary in conjunction with the Program Director.
25% Manage fiscal operations, including Program and Agency budget development and authorization of expenditures according to contracted budget agreements and the Agency in conjunction with Program Director. Leads development, direction, execution, and evaluation of Program fundraising activities.
10% Collegially works with Program funders, agency departments, monitors, auditors to ensure program compliance.
10% Accurately and efficiently generate and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reimbursements/reports to appropriate funder.
10% Develop positive public relations and communications in the community through relationship building and networking with community leaders, collaborating partners, legislative members, funders, as well as supports activities that strengthen program recognition at the local, regional, state and federal level.
5% Maintain professional knowledge and skills by attending relevant workshops, training and conferences; reviews professional materials and literature’ participates in professional organizations.
5% Perform other program related duties as assigned and as allowable within grant/funding regulations; or per Program Director and Agency directive. To include, working collaboratively with team and agency members for the best outcome of the program.

1. Ensures subordinates meet or exceed established deadlines/goals.
2. Meet established budget projections in accordance with Program and Agency set budgets.
3. Maintain professional relationships with funders, colleagues, and public partners to ensure strength and sustainability of Program.
4. Submits accurate and timely reports to necessary partners, when required or requested.
5. Observes and adheres to all program/contract regulations to include client confidentiality.
6. Taking responsibility: Completes assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner that achieves expected outcomes; exhibits concerns for the goals and needs of the department and others that depend on services or work products; handles multiple responsibilities in an effective manner; uses work time productively.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by equipment vendors or (4) job specific skills acquired through on-the-job training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
