- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Athenahealth.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before patient visits.
- Maintain organized medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications effectively.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and health information management.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations and patient care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Athenahealth is highly desirable.
