Payroll Coordinator

Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing weekly payroll for field team members along with maintaining time sheet accuracy. This role supports weekly and bonus payroll processes, along with assisting with reporting needs when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processes weekly payrolls for field team members accurately and timely.
• Reconciles payroll prior to transmission.
• Ensures accurate import of weekly payroll hours.
• Monitors and updates when needed weekly team member information in payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Administers Pay card program.
• Responds timely to internal team member related requests, rehire eligibility, verifications of employment, paycheck inquiries, PTO, etc.
• Runs daily and weekly reports for management.
• Assist with reporting needs when necessary.
• Responsible for processing monthly field bonuses.
• Delivers instructions and training to team members regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of time sheets, online access of pay statements via Paylocity, etc.
• Supports Payroll Supervisor in the identification of payroll needs and to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of all Payroll initiatives within the organization.
• Maintains confidentiality of company and team member information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18 years of age
• Extreme reliability and integrity
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and positive, optimistic attitude
• Willingness to work onsite, in-office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• 2 years of corporate Payroll experience
• 2 years of overall corporate HR experience
• Proficiency with a web based HRIS or Payroll system
• Experience with Paylocity
• Experience in C-Store, food service, manufacturing, retail, and/or hospitality environments
• Intermediate to Advanced level MS Excel skills
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
