As an assistant parts manager at Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc., you will be integral to our parts department, responsible for providing parts and accessories for a wide range of trailers. This role is essential in ensuring parts and providing exceptional customer service in the trailer industry.
Tri-State Trailer Sales in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager to join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated, strong leader to assist with assisting in overseeing our Parts department, and create an excellent customer experience.
We have been in business for 39 years and are a leader in the transportation equipment sales industry!
Responsibilities:
· Assist with overall profitability, customer service, parts sales and general management of the Parts department and outside parts salespeople
· Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
· Managing inventory of stock
· Replacing new merchandise on display
· Scheduling of Parts delivery trucks
· Handling invoices and paperwork for the Parts department
Qualifications:
*Must have current knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
* Semi-trailers
* Semi-trucks
* Heavy duty automotive, or any related equipment with air brakes
- 2 years of Counter Sales or Assistant management experience.
- Microsoft Office software experience
- Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work activities in an extremely fast paced, hands on management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player winning attitude with a positive and professional demeanor
- Parts experience 1 year
- Customer Service experience 3-5 years
- Management experience 2 years
Lifting of parts will be required, parts weighing over 50 lbs. is common
Valid driver’s license; must meet company insurability standards
