- Compile and review all necessary paperwork for new employees
- Enter data and maintain personnel files ensuring proper documentation for all employees
- Compose and maintain all mandated lists for contract employees
- Maintain master employee lists
- Complete all State and Federal reports as assigned
- Prepare monthly Board of Education personnel reporting as assigned
- Assist administrators with recruitment and onboarding of new district staff
- Manage eligibility, enrollment, and administration of employee benefit programs
- Working knowledge in the following modules of Skyward: Accounts, District, Employee, Federal Reporting, Payroll, Position, State Reporting, Staff, System, Time Off, Time Tracking and Vendor.
- Working knowledge in the following modules in Frontline Education Software: Recruiting & Hiring & Frontline Central.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing,
- Establish cooperative working relationships with people in the course of performing assigned duties,
- Knowledge of required licensure and certification for school personnel,
- Computer literacy with hosted software services and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Frontline, and Google Apps for Education,
- Good customer service skills,
- Manage multi-tasking on several projects with minimal direction,
- Capacity for working in multiple school buildings and educational environments,
- Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Administrative Assistant – Human Resources/Personnel
CONTRACT PERIOD: This one-year contract (July 1 – June 30) will include 260 working days, health benefits, IMRF benefits, and sick & vacation days.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent and Director of Human Resources/Personnel
POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the mission of the Triad School District by ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the central office. The administrative assistant will assist district administrators in any task involving human resources, accounts payable, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, FMLA and district insurance plans. The position includes other district office duties and functions deemed necessary. Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities
Preferred working knowledge of Skyward Qmlativ School Business Suite and Frontline Education Software.
