What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical position at Tribute Companies?
Reports to: Director of Maintenance

- Adapt leadership techniques based on team member needs to maximize performance.
- Oversee and perform diagnostics and repairs in areas including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, mechanical systems, and other various multifamily maintenance needs.
- Effectively multitask while mentoring and sharing knowledge with maintenance teams.
- Oversee all projects involving electrical systems within the portfolio.
- Mentor & train team members on electrical concepts and procedures.
- Assist in budget planning for routine maintenance and capital projects.
- Provide technical maintenance support across properties as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with executive management, team members, and onsite staff.
- Drive long-term solutions for maintenance issues and operational challenges.
- Be willing to assist with other tasks or projects as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Safety Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and safety concerns to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Training & Education: Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and management on workplace hazards, emergency procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Policy Development: Create, update, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance reports.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and oversee emergency response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid protocols.
- Collaboration: Work with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and ensure continuous improvement.
- 5 years of experience in multifamily maintenance supervision with a strong track record.
- Proven problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- NC Electrical License – Unlimited.
- EPA and CPO certifications.
- 3 years of experience in safety & compliance oversight
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and knowledge of Yardi (preferred, but not required).
- Dynamic, adaptable, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.
