TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey’s premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Billing Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the current billing processes and implementing new processes to improve the efficiency of the billing flow.
· Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations
· Communicate with insurance companies regarding denials and appeals
· Ensure trips are billed within a timely filing limit
· Payment tracking and follow up
· Manage revenue cycle
· Oversee all billing office functions and manage billing staff
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Ability to multitask with keen attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience dealing with major insurance companies
• Ability to work in high pressure situations
• Clean background check
• Negative drug screening
• Ability to work full time in an in-person setting
• Minimum 10 years of billing experience required (ambulance billing preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
