Are you an experienced utility professional with a passion for leadership, safety, and training the next generation of field personnel? In this critical leadership role, you will oversee construction scheduling, site inspections, and underground utility locating while also spearheading apprentice training programs to ensure our workforce is skilled, safe, and prepared for success. You will play a key role in supervising field personnel, managing outages, and driving process efficiency, all while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee construction schedules, site inspections, and line locating staff, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Cultivate a safety-first culture, ensuring all work adheres to industry regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate with agencies to secure necessary work permits and ensure accurate utility locates.
• Develop and implement apprentice training programs, collaborating with Journeyman Linemen and apprentice committee to foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize resource allocation, procurement, and system knowledge-sharing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Technical Degree in a related field, OR 10 years of experience in utility distribution operations as a Journeyman Lineman, Substation Technician, or other relevant journeyman-level role.
• Deep understanding of overhead and underground electrical construction, system design, and operational capabilities.
• Familiarity with electric utility industry regulations and Public Utility Commission requirements.
• Availability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and on-call duties as needed.
