Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a FULL TIME, Senior Project Scientist with at least 2-4 years of experience conducting environmental regulatory work, such as NEPA and CEQA evaluations and reports, biological assessments or wetland permitting work. This position is located in Trileaf's branch office, in Chandler, Arizona and is a full time in office position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and Review of NEPA repots
- Preparation of Migratory Bird Evaluation reports
- Field Studies and Biological Assessments of threatened and endangered species and habitats
- Perform QA/QC of field notes
- Preparation and assistance in QA/QC of internal project trackers for submittal to external clients
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver license
- Capable of some level of field work
- Ability and willingness to travel 10-15% of the time (not to exceed one day per week)
- Good computer skills
- Independent worker
- Commitment to excellence
- Familiarity with NEPA Assessments
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience in completing NEPA Assessments
- Experience in conducting biological assessments
- Experience in completing CEQA reports
- 40 hrs/active HAZWOPER Certification
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields
