Job Summary
The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for analyzing and forecasting workforce needs to ensure optimal staffing levels and resource allocation. They collaborate with various departments to gather data, identify trends, and develop strategies to address workforce gaps. This includes creating workforce plans, conducting capacity planning, and implementing recruitment and retention strategies. The Workforce Planning Manager also monitors and evaluates workforce performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and recommends solutions to enhance workforce efficiency and productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversees Senior Scheduling Coordinators in divisions, to ensure primary scheduling functions are being trained and maintained.
• Oversees, coordinates, and facilitates the training process of the Company’s scheduling system for all users in coordination with the Senior Schedulers.
• Works collaboratively with campus leadership and Senior Scheduling Coordinator, to identify strategies for improving professional development, retention, and best scheduling practices.
• Ensures compliance with using scheduling system and scheduling policy effectively.
• Participates and identifies strategies for improving professional development activities, scheduling system practices, and effective system use by users.
• Assist with the development of master templates at the campus level, to promote proper labor management and aide in position control, in coordination with Senior Scheduling Coordinator or campus Scheduling Coordinator.
• Assists with Payroll Based Journal and ensures integrity, utilizing available resources to guarantee timely and accurate data submission.
• Implements scheduling educational program(s).
• Creates, organizes, and assists in the development of training manuals and other educational materials.
• Facilitates, coordinates and/or conducts training programs/meetings.
• Establishes assessment tools and measure results of scheduling systems training programs.
• Creates and prepares detail designs of new systems and programs to meet end-user needs including project plans, timelines, technical task requirements, budgets, and status reports.
• Reviews standard scheduling metrics to measure success of Senior Scheduling Coordinators in each division.
• Interviews potential Scheduling Coordinators, in coordination with Senior Scheduling Coordinators in each division, prior to hire.
• Assists with campus level Smartlix updates as requested.
• Plans and schedules application development maintenance and troubleshoots application issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor Degree

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
