Job Function:
The Network & Systems Technician provides helpdesk support ensuring users and devices can properly connect to
TBP’s network. The Network & Systems Technician assists with maintaining TBP’s network and server infrastructure,
including hardware, software, data storage, and third-party programs. The Network & Systems Technician is
responsible for maintaining connectivity for devices and ensures user access.
Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Duties:
- Provides first-level service and support for break/fix issues related to the network and servers.
- Assists with network and server projects as assigned.
- Assists with improvements to TBP’s network infrastructure.
- Identifies and recommends improvements continuously to the Network & Systems team.
- Work collaboratively with other technology staff.
- Escalates necessary issues to the relevant personnel.
- Provide value-added service to end users.
- Perform and maintain accurate network/systems inventory records.
- Implement and maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform helpdesk and other technology functions as assigned.
- Documents processes and procedures to add to the knowledgebase.
- Coordinates with vendors to complete on-site projects.
Technical:
- Assists the Network & Systems team with managing the health of all components of network infrastructure.
- Assist with maintaining network documentation, identifying and resolving bottlenecks as they develop.

- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and IP configuration.
- Familiarity with Server Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Office 365, Windows Server and Desktop operating systems,
- Ability to apply common sense, problem-solving and mediation skills, and a mature attitude to a variety of

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) to two (2) years of technical experience preferred
- One (1) year of help desk experience preferred
- A certification highly valued
- Must have reliable transportation
