Medical Front Office/Medical Assistant
Pay: $18-20/ hour
Muskogee, OK
Schedule: Mon – Thurs 8am – 4:30 ½ hour lunch – off Fridays but on volunteer basis, can get extra hours (open 4 hours on Friday.)
Job Description: Text, Call, Email and Greet clients. Use Office Scanner to scan cards and hand the clients a tablet. Chart prep. They will not have to do any insurance verification.
Position open- Front Office with past MA experience so that this candidate can float to the back if needed or cover one of the other 2 areas for vacations etc.
Skills/ Experiences: someone who knows basic office, type 35-40 WPM, text and scan. An MA that is certified and or completed the training program. Need to have EXCELLENT Customer Service, and bubbly, friendly personality. They will train on tutorial to use the TEBRA system. This candidate needs to be “schedule savvy.” No word or excel experience required.
They will use the EHR system called TEBRA – very user friendly. Needs someone with a friendly bubbly personality due to the type of clinic (pain mgmt.) she wants the clients coming in to feel comfortable. Excellent customer service, and an MA that is certified to work in the back when needed.

* Perform bookkeeping duties, such as credits or collections, preparing and sending financial statements or bills, and keeping financial records.
* Perform various clerical or administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
* Transcribe recorded messages or practitioners' diagnoses or recommendations into patients' medical records.
* Compile and record medical charts, reports, or correspondence, using typewriter or personal computer.
* Schedule tests or procedures for patients, such as lab work or x-rays, based on physician orders.
* Arrange hospital admissions for patients.
* Prepare correspondence or assist physicians or medical scientists with preparation of reports, speeches, articles, or conference proceedings.
