Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a motivated Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team. As a Quality Systems Coordinator you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality management system. Since 1945, TCMF has made innovative, as well as necessary changes in the way we conduct everyday business. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long.
Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!
Position Overview:
- Maintain and update AS9100D and NADCAP documentation for two companies, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Ensure company policies and procedures align with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Assist with internal audits, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Support the Management Review process by preparing reports and metrics.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and support external audits (e.g., AS9100D, NADCAP, customer audits) for two companies.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with QMS requirements.
- Track and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Document Control and Record Management:
- Manage the Document Control System, ensuring all company procedures, work instructions, and quality records are properly maintained and up to date.
- Keep track of and update external reference documents, such as Mil Specs, ANSI, and ASTM standards, to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain training records, inspection data, and certifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of non-conformances, corrective actions, and process changes.
- Process Improvement & Problem Solving:
- Analyze quality trends and identify areas for improvement across two companies.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean manufacturing, root cause analysis).
- Training and Support
- Provide training to employees on quality procedures and best practices at two companies.
- Assist operators and inspectors in understanding customer and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between quality, production, and engineering teams for two companies.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
- Experience:
- Relevant experience in metal finishing, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership role in Quality Management Systems Development, Implementation, and Execution is preferred.
- Experience in Aerospace QMS (AS9100 and NADCAP) is required.
- Experience and Training in QMS Auditing
- Knowledge of Standards:
- AS9100D and NADCAP special process requirements.
- ISO 9001, aerospace quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills:
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in internal auditing and root cause analysis.
- Experience with corrective action processes (8D, 5-Why, FMEA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS software.
Work Environment:
- Office and production floor environment across two companies.
- Interaction with customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
- Requires travel between two companies as needed.
Total Compensation Package:
- Wage
- $25.00 - $30.00 / hour
- Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
