Starting Pay Range: Salary ($90,000)


JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing and assisting with marketing strategies and initiatives including but not limited to advertising, creative, managing and maintaining the player database, player development, social media, promotions, web content, and direct marketing campaigns.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Working knowledge of principles and practices in regard to casino marketing, promotions, and customer service in a fast-paced service industry environment.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with hotel strategies and revenue management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, as well as team member and guest information.
  • Acts as a resource to guests and casino employees, by maintaining a working knowledge of the property’s facilities and special events and informing guests whenever possible.
  • Manage all creative requests and trafficking to create the design elements required to communicate the marketing campaigns.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance marketing concepts to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Resolves miscellaneous guest complaints, referring to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to design and implement promotions, special events, projects and other marketing programs.
  • Evaluate execution during and after campaign launches and improve where needed.
  • Responsible for creative design conceptualization and design of graphic solutions from concept to completion.
  • Understanding of content management system (CMS) in association with website design and all aspects of social media creation and maintenance.
  • Responsible for editing and creating content (landing pages, copy edits, etc.) on company website.
  • Order, track and inventory merchandise for marketing promotions.
  • Assist in the creative display of all merchandise items, promotional displays and casino decorations.
  • Ability to competently write reports and business correspondence.
  • Compiles guest feedback and informs the Director of Marketing on a regular basis.
  • Performs host/ambassador duties as necessary
  • Ability to apply mathematical skills and database strategies.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently in a timely manner.
  • Review all correspondence and coordinate final corrections for production and deployment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Minimum five (5) years of casino marketing experience. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality required. Must be a proven self-starter, flexible, versatile, and responsible. Must be able to work all schedules, all days, and all shifts. Minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Complete flexibility is required. Evenings, weekends and holidays are peak business periods and incumbent will be expected to work. Prior marketing management, database management, website management, casino promotions and creative design experience preferred.

Performs all duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.


CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Is this position responsible for selling, serving or distributing alcoholic beverages? NO Do they have comp authority? YES


Do employees in this position have contact with gaming patrons on the gaming floor? YES


Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Colorado gaming License. Revocation of Colorado Gaming license may result in termination at the option of the employer.

  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time and be able to function in a loud high energy, congested environment.


ACCOUNTABILITY AND KEY MEASUREMENTS:


Candidates' performance will be measured on highly objective metrics and be eligible to participate in a bonus incentive program. Candidates being offered a position must sign a confidentiality agreement and non-compete agreement if employment is accepted.
