Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and appeal of our outdoor spaces, and some small indoor projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks related to lawn care, and general maintenance. We have a few rental properties that are in need of care and some small indoor projects inside the dwellings such as light demo, painting, caulking, changing light fixtures and cleaning. For example when tenants move out and we need to clean, make small repairs and paint for new tenants to move in.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, and trash clean up.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, and mulching.
• Maintain grounds by clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
• Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
• Ability to work outdoors while weather is nice and indoor work available for not so nice conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Salary : $12 - $16
