Job Title: Procurement & Inventory Support Specialist

Job Summary
Procurement Specialists are responsible for two primary functions at Triverus. One role is to perform procurement activities for the inbound components into manufacturing. This role entails engagement with the supplier base, order management, on hand inventory levels, and active participation in manufacturing planning activities. One role is to perform a customer service role in support of part sales to company customers.
Major Responsibilities
· Manage the procurement activities for assigned product Lines. This includes, but is not limited to:
· Review the production plan to make sure all un-supported orders are placed on a timely basis. Support other Procurement Specialists lines when they are not available.
· Regularly review and reorder stocking inventory items to minimize stock outs and maximize inventory turns.
· Manage open purchases to ensure each line item is received by the expedited due date.
· Review vendor acknowledgements to assure that all purchase orders are received and processed accurately by the vendor, and to assure that the delivery dates and quoted costs are NOT in conflict.
· Meet and develop a working relationship with vendor sales reps. Help coordinate and attend vendor meetings & trainings.
· Process vendor returns, including defective materials, miss-shipments, and annual stock rotations.
· Negotiate and process Special Pricing quotes and Ship and Debits as needed.
· Work with engineering and production operations team members to manage obsolete component parts and their inventories.
· Track and account for inventory.
· Be aware of all vendor freight and discount terms using them to make logical business decisions.
· Conduct business in a professional manner at all times.
· Manage part solicitation requests and formal proposals to all customers. Serves as the primary contact for customers in the process of requestion repair parts.
Scope Dimensions
· Has the authority to purchase replenishment stock without prior approval up to $25,000 per purchase order.
· Utilize approved vendors for all purchases, however, will review other vendor opportunities to take advantage of costs savings available to the company where possible. Collaborate with engineering, and operations as needed to ensure equipment options are fit for purpose prior to selecting alternative components.

· Vendors (both goods and services)
· Customers (component part sales)
Minimum Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. Completion of High School Diploma or GED is required.
· Five years’ experience in a related function required; procurement, inventory management, product and part sales, or technical experience.
· Experienced and competent with material management processes.
· Prior project management experience pertaining to part and material specifications and sourcing preferred.
· Proficiency with the Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
· Ability to communicate with, and have experience, supporting various technical disciplines.
· Able to remain organized in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Must have good organization and time management skills.
Personal and Attendance Requirements
Must have reliable transportation, or arrangements to meet attendance requirements for the position.
Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record. An employee’s personal driving record may be reviewed prior to, and during employment with the company.
Must be able to pass a background review prior to being accepted for employment by the company.

Salary : $20 - $30
