The Company
TRM Innovative Hearth Products is the buyout of several companies that have been merged throughout the years including but not limited to Fireplace Manufacturers Inc., (FMI), and Lennox Industries Hearth Division. The aggregate company included rollups of Marco; Superior Fireplace, which began in the 1930s; stove and insert companies including Country Stoves, established in 1977. FMI, a subsidiary of Desa, rolled up Design Dynamics in vented and vent-free logs in the early 2003 timeframe. Subsequently, the management team from the FMI segment of Desa acquired the assets of their division in 2008. On January of 2023 TRM Equity groups completely purchased IHP and created TRM Innovative Hearth Products.

Job Description:
The Production Scheduler reports directly to IHP Scheduling Manager. Their primary responsibilities include but are not limited to creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure that all company goals are achieved and that deadlines are met. They must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Production Scheduler must have a strong understanding of the production process and be able to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules. The Production Schedule solve problems, seek to improve process, communicate effectively between production, purchasing, and customer service. The RV Production Scheduler behavior that supports IHP values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
- Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
- Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
- Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
- Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
- Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
- Performs other related duties, as required.

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excel is a must.
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with SAP.
- At least two years of Manufacturing related experience.
- 2 Years Associates degree or equivalent experience in production (2-5 Years).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Language Ability:
Position requires fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
