What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Manager position at Troon?
Round Hill Country Club is a premier country club nestled in the foothills of Alamo. Currently we have a fantastic opportunity for a Banquet Manager. The right individual loves service, passing on knowledge to others while working with a strong service-oriented, passionate team. Responsible for executing all types of banquets, both in-house and outside sales, from set-up to completion.
Salary range between $80,000 - $90,000, it will commensurate with experience, competitive bonus package and benefits.
What we are looking for:
1-3 years of banquet experience in hospitality industry.
Experience in executing social, corporate events, golf tournaments and other sporting events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and staff for all banquet events.
- Ensure banquet room and buffet tables are set up according to event order and plan.
- Direct and schedule banquet staff and bar staff within budget and event needs.
- Maintain and assist with banquet reports, plans, inventory, ordering, and pricing.
- Care for and return client property and club property after each event.
- Inspect service areas for sanitation, safety, and maintenance.
- Assist F&B manager with document production, hiring, training.
- Maintains linen count and ordering needed colors in advance.
- Support Beverage Manager with monthly inventory of supply and beverage needs.
- Works with Events team and Executive chef in coordinating service requirements.
