About the Role
The Processor will assist Producers and Service Line personnel in handling and processing new and renewal product lines business. Will also provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities)
- Compile and organize client information necessary to process new and renewal policies, cancellations requests, and endorsement forms. Set up and maintain manual and electronic policy holder files.
- Enter data and text from a variety of source documents into electronic information files. Review and monitor output documents for discernible errors and enter corrections.
- Apply appropriate safeguards regarding the confidentiality and security of items such as checks, policies, and endorsement forms.
- Maintain a suspense system to track outstanding orders, correspondence, and reports; and conduct appropriate follow up by telephone or personal contact to ensure accuracy and completeness of files. May issue binders, certificates, and quotations to meet client or producer needs.
- Perform a variety of administrative support functions such as the sorting and processing of work unit mail, photocopying, miscellaneous typing, facsimile transmissions, and other general office support duties to maintain an efficient and orderly work environment.
- Perform special projects at management’s request.

What You’ll Bring to Us
- High School Graduate or GED required. Advanced training at technical, business, or college level is highly desired.
- 0-3 years of experience in a business or office setting highly desired.
- Property & Casualty License at hire or within 180 days of hire. Must maintain during employment.
- Good written and Verbal communication skills and a desire to work with people in a team and customer relations setting.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to key data and text via computer with accuracy and attention to detail while carrying out assignments with limited supervision.
- Good familiarity with computers and various software programs. Experience with MS Office products (Word and Excel) and the Internet are desirable.
