Job Summary :
The Network Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of all district data and wireless networks, including infrastructure, servers, and network operating systems. Work includes planning, installing, testing, configuring, optimizing, managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading Troy School District’s existing and new enterprise data, server, storage, and communication infrastructure. This individual will also analyze and resolve network / server service problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide reports, documentation, and training where required.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with end-users at all skill levels
- Proven ability to identify and diagnose problems related to computer systems, hardware / software, and apply preventative / corrective measures
- Ability to research, test, and collect information on new ideas / concepts and possess a strong conceptual background in technological issues with careful, well-thought-out implementations
- Must be self-motivated and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Must possess excellent writing and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
