Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
As our Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Your role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, from conducting safety orientations and inspections to investigating incidents and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safety Leadership : Conduct safety orientations, job safety analyses (JSAs), and regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Training and Development : Deliver comprehensive safety training programs to employees and subcontractors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Regulatory Compliance : Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations, including stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs).
- Incident Investigation : Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and analyze trends to prevent future occurrences.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and management to promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training records, and inspection reports.
