Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Newark, NJ area
Pay: $90k - $100k (depending on experience)
Type: Direct hire
Industry: Manufacturing - Metal Stamping / Injection Molding
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to execute HR and talent strategies, focusing on recruiting, retention, and succession planning
- Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with the Corporate Recruiter to hire qualified candidates
- Oversee onboarding, exit interviews, and open enrollment
- Work with VP HR on competitive salaries to attract and retain top talent
- Manage employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations
- Handle training programs and update the HR system (Paylocity)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Five (5) years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems like Paylocity or ADP
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
