Objective
The role of the Investor Relations Intern is to support the Investor Relations team in fundraising, business development, marketing, and Environmental, Governance and Social (ESG) objectives. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with current and potential investors by supporting investor communications, reporting, presentations, and data management.
Compensation
This internship is a paid position, with compensation ranging from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing investor communications, including quarterly reports, presentations, and updates.
- Support the development of marketing materials and presentations to prospective investors.
- Help manage and maintain investor databases and distribution lists.
- Support the completion of due diligence requests—both qualitative and quantitative—from current and prospective investors.
- Create and maintain a due diligence library of existing responses, create new responses, and coordinate input and approval from senior leadership.
- Track and participate in calls and meetings, while also designing an appropriate follow-up plan.
- Conduct market research and industry trends to support communications and marketing efforts.
- Aid in the organization of investor meetings, site tours, and events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in reporting and communications (e.g., portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, finance & accounting, human resources, and compliance).
- Assist in the curation of content for marketing, public relations, and social media efforts.
- Help manage the multi-year-long implementation of the company’s ESG policy.
- Support the creation and distribution of ESG-related content that aligns with the company and investors’ sustainability goals.
- Monitor industry news, market trends, and competitor activity relevant to investor relations.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Seeking a graduate degree with an emphasis in Real Estate.
- 1-4 years relevant experience; experience with multifamily real estate preferred but not required.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. InDesign experience strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and market analysis preferred but not required.
