Position Summary

Responsible for aligning HR Strategy with Business Objectives. Operates as a strategic influencer to leadership and employees within the assigned client group(s), providing support and guidance in connecting people solutions to business need. Focusing on Organizational Design, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Human Capital Analysis to assist and drive the development, implementation and maintenance of human resources best practices, programs, and tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leadership and employees to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Embed TrueBlue's human resources practices into the business so that they become an ongoing part of manager and leader methodology.
  • Partner with leaders at multiple levels and their teams to develop and execute Talent strategies and activities that foster attracting, developing and retaining a diverse group of employees. This includes implementing HR Organization programs, processes and tools to help set managers and employees up for success.
  • Assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, talent management/development, coaching, career development and leadership development and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas.
  • Ensure business solution strategies are supported with the appropriate HR Centers of Excellence and shared services center.
  • Educate management to use the engagement surveys as a tool for engagement. Identify action plans and accountability to improve employee engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to identify high potential employees and create development plans that incorporate in the work and on the job experiences to expand the skillset of potential successors
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience
  • Integrate D & I capabilities within the client group and in programs as appropriate

Education and/or Experience (minimum requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree, Human Resources or related
  • 5 years Human Resource experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with a multi-unit organization
  • PHR certification and/or Master's degree desired

Computer and Software Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.

  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and experience in developing, executing, and maintaining HR projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Understand the business environment, strategy and people implications.
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different global functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
  • Experience in leading and driving global projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Contribute to and support the functions talent strategy with a focus on building a diverse pipeline and building organizational capability.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills as well as interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Able to work both on a team and independently to deliver results.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to various levels of employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or on occasion move 25 pounds.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $63,760 - $95,640 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
