Trueline is seeking a Commercial Framing Materials Estimator to join their team in Madison.
What You'll Do as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:
- Conduct building material take-offs for commercial designs
- Review construction documents and understand materials for bidding
- Prepare documentation for contractor proposals
- Collaborate with sales representatives on structural aspects of plans
- Assist in project management and sales processes
- Maintain and enhance take-off software programs
- Provide training to contractors on specifications and material use
- Review actual vs. estimated materials upon project completion
Must-Haves as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:
- 2 years of experience as an estimator in residential or construction environments
- Experience with structural, engineered wood, I-joist and engineered layouts
- Experience performing building material take-offs for commercial/residential designs
- Valid DL with clean driving record
Nice-To-Haves as the Commercial Framing Materials Estimator:
- Experience as Commercial Framing Materials Estimator
- BS in Architectural Design
