TRUMPF is seeking candidates for a Occupational Safety Internship. The Internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and complement their classroom learning. This internship will be from May 2025 to December 2025 for at least 32 hours a week.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
Education
Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in occupational safety or a related field.

- Hazard and Risk Assessment of existing and new processes
- Exhaust ventilation, noise, and industrial hygiene assessments
- Life safety, hazardous materials, and physical hazards inspections of buildings and facilities
- Weekly and monthly waste and chemical storage facilities inspections and reporting
- Hazardous chemical and Safety Data Sheet document management system maintenance
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting of water and air contaminant emissions
- Participation in reviews of key safety programs, including Lockout & Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Emergency Response Plans.
