What you'll do...

Trust Consulting Services (Trust) is seeking a Corporate Trainer Consultant to design, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs tailored to corporate and government clients. This role requires expertise in adult learning methodologies, instructional design, and industry-specific training in security, acquisitions, compliance, or workforce development.

The Corporate Trainer Consultant will collaborate with clients to assess training needs, create instructional materials, and deliver interactive training sessions that enhance employee skills, compliance knowledge, and operational effectiveness.

Day to day you’ll …

Training Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, and implement training programs for corporate, security, and compliance-related topics.
• Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions using various instructional methods (workshops, seminars, e-learning, etc.).
• Develop and customize training content, including presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
• Utilize adult learning principles, interactive techniques, and real-world scenarios to enhance engagement and retention.
• Incorporate assessments, quizzes, and feedback mechanisms to measure learning effectiveness.

Needs Assessment & Program Evaluation

• Conduct training needs assessments through consultations, surveys, and interviews with stakeholders.
• Identify gaps in employee knowledge and recommend training solutions to address them.
• Analyze training outcomes and performance metrics to assess program effectiveness.
• Provide reports and recommendations for continuous improvement based on participant feedback and data analysis.

Collaboration & Client Engagement

• Work closely with clients to understand business objectives, regulatory requirements, and workforce development needs.
• Provide expert recommendations on training strategies and learning solutions.
• Facilitate discussions with leadership teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.

Compliance & Industry Standards

• Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging training methodologies.
• Ensure training materials comply with industry regulations, federal requirements, and company policies.
• Integrate compliance training related to security protocols, acquisitions, workplace safety, and risk management.

Technology & Learning Management

• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms for course delivery.
• Implement innovative training tools, such as simulations, gamification, and case studies.
• Maintain training records, participant tracking, and certification completion data.

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.

What you'll bring to the team...

Education

• Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (master's preferred).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate trainer, learning & development specialist, or instructional designer.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in training development and facilitation in security, acquisitions, compliance, or workforce training.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick Model, etc.), and training evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and virtual training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt training content for different learning styles and audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for client training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Training & Development (CPTD, ATD, or equivalent).
• Experience working with government contracts and federal agencies.
• Knowledge of security compliance, acquisitions, and Total Contract Services (Trust) training.
• Familiarity with government procurement and contracting processes.
