What you'll do...
The Human Resources Generalist I-Recruiting Specialist will support the recruiting efforts of our Security team including recruiting, onboarding, training, credential compliance, and offboarding staff.
Day to day you’ll …
- Primarily recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, especially social media
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
- Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout the hiring process, from interview preparation to final offer.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Provide guided communication to candidates throughout their onboarding and background check processes.
- Maintain HRIS database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other designations.
- Engage and partner with key HR partners across various departmental functions.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices;
- Manage and implement improvements in the Human Resources Department’s systems/practices in line with the company’s mission and strategic direction.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned or required.
What you'll bring to the team...
Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of talent acquisition experience preferred.
- 1 of Human Resource Generalist experience preferred.
Qualifications

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must be team oriented and be capable of collaborating with other departments
- Experience with HRIS systems required.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not necessary.
Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
