Overview :
Collective Power for Reproductive Justice ( collectivepowerrj.org ) is a national reproductive rights and justice organization dedicated to educating, mentoring, and inspiring new generations of advocates, leaders, and supporters. Combining activism, organizing, leadership training, and reproductive rights movement building, Collective Power promotes an inclusive agenda that advances reproductive rights and health, and social and economic justice. Collective Power is a fiscally sponsored project of TSNE ( tsne.org ).
Responsibilities : Essential Functions
Collective Power for Reproductive Justice (CPRJ), is currently hiring two students from the Five Colleges to be Conference Committee Coordinators (CCC). Collective Power is a national Reproductive Justice organization who hosts an annual reproductive justice conference in Amherst MA : Collective Power , facilitates an national internship program which offers up to 40 undergraduates social and reproductive justice internships, and produces research on challenging population control and eugenics.
The CCCs will work under the supervision of the Campus and Conference Program Manager at Collective Power, from September 2024 to June 2025. Their key responsibilities include networking and building relationships with Five College students by hosting at least five on-campus info sessions throughout the year. These sessions will focus on getting involved with Collective Power and advancing reproductive justice.
In addition, CCCs will promote the Collective Power 2025 conference, recruit Five College students to join the 2025 Student Organizing Group, and assist with coordinating event logistics during the conference, which will take place from April 4th-6th, 2025.
Five College Outreach :
- Represent Collective Power at Five College events
- Foster relationships with appropriate contacts at all colleges (activist student groups, feminist studies, identity-based centers, etc.)
- Promote Collective Power events and Student Organizing Group through newsletters, flyers, and social media post
Conference Outreach :
Post-Pandemic Infrastructure Preparation & Planning
2025 Conference Weekend Coordination April 4th, 5th, and 6th (Required Attendance) :

Compensation and Benefits
Location : Work will be primarily performed Amherst, MA.
Compensation : The starting salary for this position is $15.00 / hr and is commensurate with experience.
