Litigation Paralegal
Location : Orlando, FL
Employment Type : Permanent
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (In-office for the first 90 days, then hybrid with three remote days per week)
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000 per year
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and supporting attorneys in all stages of litigation. This role requires a highly organized professional with deep knowledge of Florida and U.S. District Court laws, electronic discovery, and trial preparation .
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and maintain case-related information and documentation (both electronic and hard copy).
- Draft legal documents, including motions, affidavits, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and judicial decisions.
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas.
- Prepare and organize case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and trial materials.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation, which may involve attending hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Coordinate logistics for trials / arbitrations, including remote office setup and vendor / client communication.
- Ensure proper filing of documents in court and administrative agencies, including electronic filings.
- Utilize e-discovery databases and litigation support software for document production and case management.
- Oversee case file organization and delegate tasks to department assistants and file clerks as needed.
