Scope:
- The HR Business Partner is responsible for administration of Human Resources programs, policies, and activities for the TTM North Jackson Division. As an internal management partner, the HR Business Partner provides guidance to the leadership team regarding employee and HR matters as well as being a resource to employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as frontline resource to address questions, inquiries and provide HR support services to employees and the management team. Ensure company policies, procedures and practices are communicated and applied.
- Assist with the full-cycle recruiting activities for both internal and external processes, including: job requisitions through HR software and applicant tracking system, utilize a variety of resources and partnerships to identify and attract quality candidates, screen applicants and coordinate interviews and coordinate pre-hire activities.
- Oversee new hire onboarding, conduct new hire orientation
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Properly maintain all employee records and changes in HRIS system as well as hard-copy documentation.
- Provide planning and leadership for company events, site communications, employee meetings and community related initiatives. Assist with committees and initiatives to promote wellness and employee engagement
- Assist with Human Resource projects, such as benefits open enrollment as needed.
- Partner with employees and/or management in settling disputes including employee relations investigations and performance concerns
- Complete payroll tasks in order to ensure timecards are processed accurately for the corporate payroll team

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong candidate sourcing and relations building skills preferred.
- Knowledge of Human Resources, State/Federal regulations, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism at all times, calm, flexible, resilient, and solution oriented.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite. Experience with HRIS and/or payroll software preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential a plus.
- Prior HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Export/ITAR Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
