About the opportunity:
- Lead end-to-end post sales delivery of projects that bring Ting's network to our customers: building entrances, structure wiring and fiber to the suite; working with local construction teams and or contracted service providers.
- Work closely with multi-functional leaders to scale up network deployment velocity and consistency during principle construction of a market
- Lead QA/QC efforts for all MxU projects
- Support process and systems enablement quick wins
Reporting to:
- Manager, Construction and Operations
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage project specific delivery plan to connect and activate building by driving outputs and outcomes from internal partners and vendors
- Lead and participate in project calls to provide clarity, give status updates, and assist with risk mitigation where necessary
- Build and use a vendor onboarding playbook to mobilize in market MxU construction and installation vendors with local Ting operational team and capabilities
- Measure, manage and improve vendor actual performance against negotiated SLAs during lifecycle of project, especially during ramp up
- Optimization vendor performance with a partnership mindset leveraging proven tactics
- Refine and optimize scopes of work with MxU service vendors
- Be an operations scaling strategist and change agent with managers and directors
- Support process and systems enablement workshops as required
- Champion clear division of responsibilities with all internal and external partners
Qualifications:
- 4 years managing construction of communications networks in residential, commercial and mixed use building
- Strong at managing vendor performance to MSA and SOW contracts with liquidated damages clauses
- Advanced schedule and budget management with both internal and external partners
- Versatile and strong communication skills and common based on audience, be it senior leadership and executives, local operations managers or external parties
- Civil construction management practices with municipal agencies and building management partners
- Experience leading to outcomes with vendors on high visibility projects, including comfort with raising issues and bring them up to senior management if necessary
- Ability to establish and maintain effective reporting and metrics
- Foundational project financials management experience, especially related to work and change orders
- Proven ability to build documentation and processes, and critical metrics
- Experience and proficiency with data analysis, statistical information and with operational metrics reporting
- Highly conscientious and diligent work ethic; strong attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and presentation abilities required
