What are the responsibilities and job description for the TC/SUPERVISOR - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN position at Tulalip Gaming Organization (TGO)?
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overall supervision of Maintenance Technicians and assigning daily and weekly tasks. Ensures operation of all building equipment with preventative maintenance, monitoring equipment, trouble shooting malfunctions, and recommending equipment purchases and replacements. Ensures timely responses to department maintenance requests through maintenance software program. Recovering of layouts and replacement of foam padding on gaming tables. Keeps an inventory of parts and orders as needed. Coordinates and schedules with other casino/bingo departmental managers for other maintenance needs.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to effectively communicate with staff, management, and outside agencies. (Test required)
- Must have good math skills. (Test required)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience in building maintenance.
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Prior casino/gambling facility maintenance preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is considered “safety sensitive” and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must successfully pass an agility exam with at least a “light” physical demand level score to determine physical capability to perform the essential job functions.
- Must be flexible to work both casino sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino and the Quil Ceda Creek Casino.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
- Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
