- Job Summary
Provide College payroll support for adjunct payroll.
- Essential Duties
Data entry HR Status forms for new employees and stipends for payroll; calculate exceptions to monthly payroll.
Process by entering additions or changes to the Adjunct Payroll and provide support for Academic Schools with ProcessMaker payroll forms.
Receive and act upon employee garnishments, tax levies, and employment verifications according to legal and College requirements; prepare proper payments, deduction documents, and notices; monitor descending balances; maintain written records of all such transactions.
Collaborate with ERP Module Manger and Analyst to improve processes and procedures for Adjunct Payroll.
Process federal W4 and State of Oklahoma W4 withholding changes for existing employees.
Input payroll items such as vacation payouts based on calculation from Payroll.- Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Information Technology or a related field.
One year of either payroll or human resources experience.
High attention to detail with effective organizational and critical thinking.
Ability to research, collect and objectively evaluate data and statistics.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Sensitivity when handling confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
Demonstrated data entry in payroll and human resources functions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.- Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
