Work Schedule
- You’ll work Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts (with possibly some overtime in the peak season), starting at 7:00 am depending on the season. Your workday is finished when the route/job is complete, which is around 5:30, but this can vary.
- We provide transportation from our shop to job sites. You’ll drive or ride in a work van/truck from the shop to the job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass
- Apply herbicides and starter fertilizer
- Trim/prune trees and shrubs
- Clean lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers
- Install new landscaping materials
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order
- Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned/required safety gear, PPE, etc.
- Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner
Requirements:
- Able to operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
- Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends and overtime
- Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions outdoors
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to the shop
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
