We are a correctional healthcare provider with a regional focus on our clinics in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas Jails and Detention Centers. Our team oversees the day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,800 inmates. Summary/Objective:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting supervisor(s) with daily activities and projects performing a variety of clerical duties.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors the status of the work and projects for supervisor(s).
- Maintains supervisor's appointment calendar. Arranges appointments, meetings, and conferences.
- Attends meetings or conferences as assigned and reports on major points and actions resolved or to be taken.
- Resolves administrative problems by preparing reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
- Assists supervisor with recruiting and onboarding of new employees according to company policy and state and federal laws.
- Composes correspondence and disseminates to appropriate individuals. Answers phones, questions, and requests.
- Processes expense sheets and invoices.
- Prepares various documents and handles confidential matters in accordance with TK Health policies and procedures.
- Ensures equipment operation, calls for repairs, maintains equipment inventories, and evaluates new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains personnel files for each employee.
- Reconciles employee time records, prepares payroll, and maintain leave records.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prolonged stationary periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- May require prolonged periods of standing, moving, ascending/descending stairs, and bending.
- Must be able to lift materials up to 25 pounds at times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- Previous administrative experience required.
- Ability to pass background check.
