Turner Home Improvement Contractors, a Connecticut-based exterior home improvement company, is seeking a dynamic full-time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and prospects for our Glastonbury, CT office. We are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience as a receptionist (or similar role). Ideally someone who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a computer-heavy, desk-based role that requires strong proficiency in office software, email, scheduling programs, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. We are looking for a tech-savvy, highly organized professional with at least one year of experience in a receptionist or similar role. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to handle fluctuating call volume. Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors as they enter the building and assist as needed
Serve as the first point of contact, answering a fluctuating volume of calls via a headset and directing inquiries accordingly.
Communicating with clients and prospects over the phone, text, email, and in-person
Managing the office calendars and scheduling appointments
Maintain and update customer records using multiple software platforms
Multitasking efficiently
Performing general office duties, including filing, organizing, scanning, and managing office supply inventory
Assisting with various tasks as needed
Requirements:
Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 30 minute break
Reliable transportation to and from the office
Background verification screening
Excellent customer service skills
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 recent year of phone experience in an office setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
Ability to work independently
