Material Handler
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team in the Cantonment, FL area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical receipt, storage, and distribution of production materials
- Conducting physical inventories and count discrepancy resolution
- Management of non-conforming materials and interface with purchasing and production departments regarding material issues
Qualification Standards:
- Written pre-employment qualification test
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Pass background check
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in handling Liquid and Dry products for agricultural and industrial use (preferred)
Functional Requirements:
- Assist with terminal/distribution operations by performing loading and unloading activities
- Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site
- Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed
- Catch samples as per Standard Operating Procedure
- Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure
- Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units
- Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers
- Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise
- Special assignment duties and call out as required
- Subject to random DOT drug screening
Physical Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 100 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
Mental Involvement:

- Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways; work performed at low and/or high elevations; work performed in confined areas
- Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: indoor/outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
