Lawn Account Manager

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate must be dependable, ethical, and have a desire to succeed. This position requires you to be well organized, detail oriented, have good communication skills and self-motivated. Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude is a must! 

Duties include:

• Complete the application of pesticides, termiticides, fertilizers, herbicides, and fungicides where applicable on a preset daily route
• Primarily assist with initial CPC, GHP (clean-out infestations i.e., rodents, German Roaches, etc.) and termite (active/live termite remediation) services, follow ups sent in by technicians, and service calls from customers. May help complete monthly routes as needed
• Identify Pest, Termite or L&O problems, develop solutions to those problems, and implement solutions to correct deficiencies
• Communicate technical corrective actions to technicians with department supervisor
• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external, helping them understand our services and provide clear expectations.
• Safely drive and maintain a clean company vehicle
• Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents
• Provide customers with general information about our various services
• Conduct service calls as needed
• Problem solving and/or complaint resolution

Requirements

• Ability to safely drive a large, heavy truck
• Able to withstand long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, squatting
• Be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs 
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be competent with the use of new technology
• Be organized and able to manage their own daily route
• Strong technical GHP, CPC, Termite and Lawn & Ornamental skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to partner with customers in implementing solutions
• The ability to diagnose difficult pest, termite & lawn issues and develop a corrective treatment plan
• The ability to train new hire technicians and the ability to help current production technicians
• Must be able to interpret guidance and direction from the supervisory team
• Must be flexible with the daily schedule

To be qualified:

• At least 21 years of age
• Have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
• Must be skilled and knowledgeable in Lawn and Ornamentals
• Must be in good standing (for current employees only)

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
 

Position Type:
 

This is a full-time position.  Some Saturdays may be required.
 

Travel:
 

Local daily travel within the assigned territory.
