We are seeking a full-time Operations Director. The Operations Director is responsible for the supervision of BHA (behavioral health associate) Managers and their related teams as well as creating and implementing a training and onboarding framework. This position is responsible for overseeing FTE budget and headcount. This position works very closely with various other departments to coordinate site-specific activities and needs.
The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:
- Coach and guide BHA Managers in best practices of management
- Create framework of initial training, on-going training, and onboarding for BHA team
- Implement robust attendance management process
- Support BHA Managers in ensuring shifts are covered
- On-call support for escalations
- Support compliance related activities in coordination with Risk & Compliance Director for state and CARF requirements
- Process owner for medication management
- Ensure headcount/FTE align with department budget
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum HS Diploma, 4 year degree preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR certification or ability to obtain before date of hire
Experience
- 4 years supervisory experience
- 3 years working in Substance Abuse / Behavioral Health
- 2 years training and/or onboarding
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of recruiting, hiring, training, supervision of BHA
- Understanding of Local and State Regulatory Requirements as well as National Accreditation Standards (CARF)
- Experience and knowledge of direct behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment, medication management, behavioral management, and medical protocols
- Understanding and application of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for behavioral health.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data management environments
- Cannot have DUI conviction in last 5 years. Must pass background screening through Utah Dept of Human Services.
