TurnPoint Search is partnering with a growing finance firm to hire a Human Resources Business Partner to support their tech population. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business results through effective talent management, data-driven insights, and HR advisory support. You’ll collaborate with the CTO and leadership to understand the specific needs of the business and support initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Generate regular reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, engagement scores, performance metrics) and provide insights to guide decision-making.
- Analyze data and identify trends in employee engagement, retention, and talent needs.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership and department managers to communicate key insights and recommendations.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Manage the annual performance review process, including working with compensation to ensure internal equity.
- Help coordinate engagement activities and support initiatives to build a positive workplace culture.
- Design and implement talent development programs in conjunction with L&D, including trainings and career development initiatives.
- Maintain and update HR data systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on employee records, performance metrics, and HR operations.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in compliance-related activities, including updating employee handbooks, supporting audits, and ensuring the team’s knowledge of HR best practices and local laws.
- Assist with broader HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5-15 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in financial services required.
- Experience supporting a technical population strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of empathy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Position pays a base salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skill level. There is also the potential for a discretionary bonus.
