In-Person (NOT VIRTUAL) Private Mathematics Tutor in Union County, NC

Tutor Doctor of Central and South Charlotte is looking for experienced IN PERSON Private Mathematics Tutor in Waxhaw, NC 28173. The role would support a 7th grade student 2 days per week in students home to strengthen their basic understanding and comfort level with Math. Looking for serious candidates to support this student to success and also looking to grow their student support base with our team. We can also add virtual opportunities after acceptance of this role. Comfort level with Union County School Curriculum is desired. Please understand this role IS NOT VIRTUAL. Please do not respond if you are only looking for virtual tutoring.

Teacher/Tutor Responsibilities include:

• Must be IN-PERSON in Waxhaw, NC in 28173 area (Not Virtual)
• Ability to comfortably provide academic support in math and reading for K-8 students.
• Commit to attending teaching/tutoring sessions in a professional and timely manner.
• Preparing learning aids to help explain concepts that may be eluding the student.
• Help establish academic goals and milestones with the student.
• Provide constructive feedback to student and staff (when applicable)
• Document and communicate progress in brief written session summaries

• Ability to create engaging learning environments for diverse learners

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
