SUMMARY

Responsible for providing technical support and assistance by interacting with employees by phone, video conferencing, in writing, or in-person to resolve their computer problems related to software and hardware issues. Provides troubleshooting and user support while maintaining incident management tracking as well as promoting security best practices. This position will be supporting Tuttle Construction, Touchstone CPM and Tuttle Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Help Desk calls and email in a timely manner
  • Respond to staff IT issues via phone, email or in-person
  • Provide staff technical assistance
  • Document staff technical interactions
  • Run diagnostics to resolve end-user reported issues
  • Escalate issues to the next Tier level of difficulty
  • Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Follow-up with staff to ensure issues are resolved
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • 2 years of experience working in a help desk environment
  • Basic Network and Active Directory experience
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, Apple iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Ability to interact professionally and friendly, both verbally and in writing, as well as understand and explain sometimes complicated concepts and procedures to solve problems efficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, or the public.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume and basic algebra.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer and network technical issues.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited information exists.
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CompTIA A (flexible), Valid driver's license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position may require occasional overtime.
