We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at our bustling fitness center in the heart of John F. Kennedy International Airport. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet members and guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive.
2. Assist members with inquiries, membership sign-ups, class registrations, and general information about our facility and services.
3. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing any concerns or issues with empathy and efficiency.
4. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and gym, including stocking supplies, and processing payments accurately.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and seamless coordination of services, including class schedules, facility maintenance, and special events.
6. Provide tours of the facility to prospective members, highlighting key features and amenities to promote membership sales.
7. Act as a liaison between members and management, relaying feedback, suggestions, and concerns to improve the overall member experience.
8. Stay informed about current promotions, events, and programs, and actively promote them to members to encourage participation and engagement.
9. Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, privacy regulations, and customer service standards, at all times.
10. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, attending trainings and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service and fitness industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Engage with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
