What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designated Manager position at Twin Cities Home Care?
Twin Cities Home Care is currently hiring a full-time Program Director/Designated Manager for Crisis Respite services licensed through the Department of Human Services. TCHC provides supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health diagnosis & traumatic brain injuries in the Bloomington area.
Duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Report writing
- Team meetings
- Handling emergency situations
- Staff training and supervision
- Annual paperwork
- File audits
- Maltreatment internal investigations and reports
- Staffing support
Qualifications needed include a 4 year degree in the Human Services field (or 4 years of full time experience in the human services field), 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness & 3 years of supervisory experience in the human services field. Extensive experience with high medical needs is required.
This position requires availability to provide additional direct care support with individuals served as needed, which may include evenings and weekends. This position also requires availability to address emergency situations as they arise, which also may include evenings and weekends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to problem solve & multi-task are also required. This position offers a competitive wage & benefits. Persons with experience as 245D site supervisors, Program Managers, Program Directors, etc. are encouraged to submit resumes.
